Polygons are types of plane shapes (2D Shapes).
Things that make up a polygon
- sides
- vertices
- angles
What is a polygon
A polygon is a multisided shape that has multiple vertices, and multiple angles and
it is a closed shape. A polygon is a 2D shape.
Remember: a polygon can not have crossed lines.
Regular polygons & non-regular polygons
A regular polygon is a polygon with the same angles on each side.

An irregular polygon is a polygon which has no equal angles on each side.
