The Indian government
Introduction
India is a vast and diverse country and is the most democratic country in the whole world, So to understand the country of vast diversity we also need to understand it’s government. In this post we are going to learn about the government in India.
The government
The Indian government is split into 2 parts the central and the state government. The central government/union government rules the entire country. The state government on the other hand kind of helps the central government to rule the country. The state government rules a singular state.
The central government in detail
The central government consists of three types of government.
- The central legislative
- The central executive
- The central judiciary
The central legislative
The central legislative is the law maker of the government. It consists of the parliament i.e. it is a building where people gather around to make laws and decisions. here is a table to help you understand In the above picture the are two term called the Lok Shaba and Rajya Shaba There are the meeting rooms in the parliament the Lok Shaba is the lower house of the parliament(it is called the lower house because it is in the ground floor of the parliament) the Rajya Shaba is called the upper house of the parliament (it is called the upper house because it is in the 1st floor of the parliament).

The central executive
The central legislative is the like the executive branch for laws in the country it consists of a ruler and a group of people The prime minister(advisor to the president) kind of takes care of mostly everything and takes care of the army.
The central judiciary
The central judiciary protects the laws and take them in action and bring justice to the citizens of India The president appoints the chief justice(the chief of all judges) and the 25 other judges in the supreme court i.e. the supreme court is the highest court in the whole country and is located in Delhi the capital of India
The state government
The state government is some wart similar to the central government. It also has the legislative, executive and judiciary
The state legislative
The state legislative also consist of 2 different meeting rooms(Shaba) the Vidan Shaba and the Vidan parishad.
as you see it similar to the central legislator but if you observe in the Vidan parishad(upper house) there are only 40 seats and the term period of people is permanently .
State executive
the state executive is kind of like the central executive of India example to show how you can understand it it has a similar chart too… In the state executive also there is a leader called the chief minister and he’s kind of like the Prime Minister in the central Government of India and then comes the governor who’s the person below the chief minister.
