Types of Government & what is a Government
Introduction
Every nation is ruled by someone or a group of people right? Like in India people are ruled by a Prime Minster , In the Us people are ruled by A president and in countries like Britain people are ruled by a queen or a king. these all are called GOVERNENMENTS
What is a Government
A government is a group of people or a single leader leading an organized community.
Some countries are called democratic and others are called Authoritarian countries.
A democratic country is when the government is open to people and lets them choose the leader and gives them right to make opinions on what the government is saying, but on the other hand with the authoritarian government doesn’t let them vote but and it doesn’t give rights to criticize or give an opinion about the government’s ideas.

There are three types of governments in the world
- Autocratic
- Democracy
- Oligarchy
Autocratic and Oligarchy come under the Authoritarian government
There are two different types of these governments for each of them
Autocratic
- Absolute Monarchy-In this type the the previous leader gives the throne or leadership to his successor who is mostly his children
- Director- is against the law to disagree with the government.
Oligarchy
is when a group of people rule the whole power in the country or the people with the religious culture in the country or with people who are high educated and rich rule the country.
Democracy
There are many forms of government in the democratic type
The representative democracy and the direct democracy.
In the representative democracy people get to vote their leader who will then decide the rules.
Countries like the U.S and India are the representative democracies.
But in the direct democracy the people will decide every decision the leader is going to make.
